COMPOUNDS
The compounds and/or master batch are mixes of polymers with carbon black, oils, anti-ageing agents and, in the case of compounds, even vulcanizing agents. The percentage and type of the various polymers and components varies from mix to mix in relation to the desired characteristics, in relation to the properties that the finished product must have (physical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, electrical yield, etc.). In correspondence to the multiple possibilities that are obtained using the various types of polymers and the different components in the appropriate proportions, the Compounds Division today disposes of over 6,000 formulations that represent an immense technological wealth.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The Rubber Compounds Division is concentrated on the study of materials and of their ability to be processed, on the improvement of the performance in ever more exasperated conditions of use and on production technologies for improving the constancy and repetitively of the product in time.
